Eve Online Guide

Featured

In the age of MMOGs i.e. Massively Multiplayer Online Games, the Eve online is the only game that does not follow the typical structured playing style. Unlike other MMOGs, It does not have predictable outcomes and the monotonous levels. The game develops depending on the player’s impact at different levels. The game is like a virtual playground where you decide what and how to play. Thus it is an open ended game and allows active participation and a lot of thinking on the part of the player. It is played on a single server and hence thousands of players can play the game at a single time.

The Eve online guide is introduced so that players who like such challenging games can understand the game better as initially it can be quite a Herculean Task. You get to learn about the Interstellar Kredit or the ISK as it is commonly known as in the gaming world or the Eve online guide. This is nothing but virtual money and the guide gives you tips on how you can make more and more money through this game and thus top the earnings and ratings chart. The basis of the Eve online game is exploration, space trading and combat.

It includes 5 human race factions that have fallen out of their origin world and are trying to get back. The names of the races are Amarr Empire, the Caldari State, the Gallente Federation, the Jovian Empire and the Minmatar Republic. Each race has their own story and their own special powers and abilities. You can choose to be part of one of the races to fight against the other. The Jovian race is not as active when it comes to the game but according to the Eve Online guide it consists of knowledge junkies who sell their advanced technology to the highest bidder among the races.

Once you join as a character in one of the races, you will keep learning new things that are specific to the race and game. This happens real time and so even if you have logged out, your character will keep learning the skills. You can design your own character above the torso using different hairstyles, jewellery, clothes and even a name. Your character needs to join the corporations that exist in different races as soon as possible. The corporations are like guilds in the game and will provide you protection.

According to Eve online guide, once you know your basics then the entire game depends on how you use the various skills and sustain in the race. There is a lot that you can learn from this game. In fact depending on the various positions of the characters, you will learn different skills for the real world too. There are senior executives and other adults who play this game and find an advantage to face the challenges of the changing real market scenarios too. The game is addictive for those who like to apply their brains and keep thinking actively at all time and the Eve Online guide will be a good way for the newbies to start with the game.

Eve Online Guide

Getting started with one of the most interactive or active games among the existing MMOGs is very easy. The Eve Online guide will help you get all the necessary information if you are new to the game and are wondering where and how to begin. The first step definitely is to download the Eve online. Once you have done that, you will see an icon on your desktop. Click on that and accept the terms and conditions to install the game. Once that is done, create a log in account. The game does run on Windows, Linux and Macintosh but has specific system requirements that need to match.

If you do not want to download the game, then you can also purchase the DVD and install the game from there. In the next step before you begin your journey of play, you need to create a character which will represent you. The Eve online guide generally gives a detailed procedure on how you go about doing that. You can also morph your facial features on the character with the help of the tools provided. Simultaneously you also need to choose out of the 5 human races available in the game. Your character will then keep upgrading his/her skills during the course of the game.

The Eve online guide will give you details about the game but at the same time once you have created the character and begin the game, you will also go through an online game tutorial for the same. There are many websites which will provide you detailed information and act as your Eve online guide. You can choose to use any of them as they have detailed explanation that will help you master the game. Since it is a relatively new and different concept as compared to other games, players have a difficulty in the initial stages.

If you carefully follow the instructions given in the Eve online guide, the game will seem easier. There are also many forums discussing the Eve online guide. At any point of time if you are stuck in the game and are trying to find answers to move out, you could get valuable information from these forums. It is also necessary to study the online game tutorial that appears as it has a lot of beneficial information and at the end will give you bonus points and rewards before you begin the game.

The game has several user interfaces and panels that will help you with various tools during the game. The first step of your game is to learn flying a space ship. In this game, you will be fighting, mining, flying and doing many other things in space because you belong to the race that have lost touch with their origin world. During the game, you will be able to earn ISK or interstellar kredit and it will give you access to better spaceships and aircrafts. The game has its own glossary and abbreviations which are explained in the tutorials. Hence along with the Eve online guide it is necessary to carefully go through the tutorial too.

Who Thinks that Vincent Is The Blackmailer?! (Passions)?

IT HAS TO BE!

I’ve read in so many places online that TV Guide said that on July 20th, Vincent reveals himself to Eve as her son, and also as the blackmailer!

Who agrees that it’s Vincent?!

What Graphics Card Is Better?

Hi, Currently I have a ATI Radeon X1650 Pro 256 Mb graphics card and my brother after having upgraded his pc has a Geforce 220 spare, I was wondering would the 220 be an upgrade or about the same?

The games im currently playing are: World of warcraft, EVE Online, Sins of a solar empire, IL-2 and a few more games of similar graphic needs. I have vista 32 bit, 4gbs of ram and duel core 1.6/1.6 Ghz…

The ATI Card can play all these games at a decent level of detail but when a fair ammount of action is on screen I sometimes get a breif pause or frame rate dips, so if the 220 is better I would like to know Thanks.

Also if anyone could leave a small step by step guide on how to correctly uninstall the ATI Drivers and install the Nvidia ones and when/when not to change the card I would very much appreciate it. = )
Ill be getting a new card in a couple months no doubt, was just curious if the 220 would be better to use till then. : ) Also I tried putting it in already but on start up it would blue screen so needed to know if the effort of getting past the bluescreen issue was even worth it.

Final Fantasy XI Online Noob with questions.?

Hola folks.

After 3 1/2 years with City of Heroes/Villains, I am ready for a new MMOG.

I don’t have interest in the others (WoW, GW, EVE, etc), so I hope to make the plunge over this snowy weekend.

Now, for the NOOB, can you please provide:
1) Good online links to: FAQ’s, early level walkthroughs, tips and tricks.
2) A good, survivable, FUN build with a starter location and a preferred server.
3) Your thoughts to make my first 30 days neat, fun, with a high wow factor.
4) Some common NOOB mistakes (like, "Dont touch X", "Make sure you visit Y", "Make sure you don’t sell Z").
4a) Is there a good, paper game guide that ain’t 100 years outdated and just plain wrong (For some reason, Prima comes to mind).

Thanks in advance folks. I know that I try to be as helpful to CoX noobs (info, inf, SG’s) as possible, so I know that there are plenty of them for FFXI!

: )

Programming Assistance?

I am attempting to program a calculator for stacking penalties for a online game known as Eve Online. I want to use Visual Basic and i have the basic skills necessary to achieve this minus one very important one. I lack the ability to convert a equation as complicated as this one into code format for me to use. If anyone can do this please assist me by providing an example from which i can copy and manipulate. The formula is reflected in this link http://eve.battleclinic.com/guide/9196-Aenigma-s-Stacking-Penalty-Guide.html
under stackingpenaltyguide.pdf in the first chapter.
